1. Services Provided

AI4SavvySeniors provides educational workshops about artificial intelligence literacy for adults. Our workshops are designed to help participants understand, evaluate, and use AI tools strategically.

2. Educational Purpose Only

All content provided through our website and workshops is for educational and informational purposes only. We do not provide financial, legal, medical, cybersecurity, or other professional advice. The information presented should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with qualified professionals.

AI tools discussed in our workshops can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or fabricated information. Participants are solely responsible for verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions.

3. No Guarantees

We make no guarantees regarding: the accuracy of AI-generated outputs; protection from scams, fraud, or misinformation; specific results or outcomes from applying workshop techniques; the continued availability or functionality of any third-party AI tools discussed.

4. Participant Responsibilities

By participating in our workshops, you agree to: use the information provided responsibly and at your own discretion; consult qualified professionals before making important financial, legal, medical, or other significant decisions; verify AI-generated content with trusted sources; comply with all applicable laws and the terms of service of any third-party platforms discussed.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our workshop materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, curriculum, handouts, and presentations, is the property of AI4SavvySeniors and is protected by copyright law.

Permitted use: Participants may use workshop materials for their own personal, non-commercial learning.

Prohibited use: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit our materials without prior written permission. Organizations that book workshops may not reuse or redistribute materials to conduct their own AI training programs.

6. Workshop Booking and Payment

Organizational bookings: Workshop fees, scheduling, and terms will be confirmed in writing before each engagement. Payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation: Cancellations made more than 14 days before a scheduled workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7-14 days before will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops; in such cases, a full refund will be provided.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI4SavvySeniors and its owner, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: your use of or reliance on information provided in our workshops or on our website; any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in our content; financial losses, identity theft, fraud, or other damages that may occur despite applying workshop techniques; the actions, products, or services of any third-party AI platforms or tools discussed.

Your participation in our workshops and use of our website is at your own risk.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI4SavvySeniors, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our services.

9. Third-Party Tools and Platforms

Our workshops may reference third-party AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, and others. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these platforms. Your use of any third-party tool is governed by that platform's own terms of service and privacy policy.

10. Website Use

You agree not to: use our website for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; interfere with the proper functioning of our website; use automated systems to access our website without permission.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Alameda County, California.
