MEET NORMAN WEEKES

Norm Weekes started AI4 Savvy Seniors on a simple belief: the people best equipped to use AI wisely are the ones who have already watched a lot of technology come and go.

His career ran through the places where trust and money meet. He spent more than 15 years in banking at JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and Citi, working with small business owners. During the pandemic, he worked with the U.S. Small Business Administration on PPP and disaster loans. At GM Cruise, he tested self-driving car AI in real-world conditions, which gave him a close-up view of where AI performs well and where it still needs a human to step in.

Norm is self-taught in AI and keeps learning formally. He holds certificates in the Ethics of AI from the University of Helsinki and in Chatbots from Johns Hopkins University, plus a series of Google courses on using AI for writing, research, and planning.

His workshops are plain-spoken and unhurried. Every technical term comes with a plain explanation, there’s no pressure, and every session ends with a take-home handout.
