Our Commitment
AI4SavvySeniors is committed to ensuring that our website and workshops are accessible to all participants, including those with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information about AI literacy, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility of our services.
Website Accessibility
We have designed our website with accessibility in mind. Our efforts include:
Readable text: Large, clear fonts throughout the site to support easy reading.
High contrast: Color combinations that provide sufficient contrast for users with low vision or color blindness.
Screen reader compatibility: Structured content and alternative text for images to support assistive technology.
Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be accessed using a keyboard.
Clear navigation: Consistent, simple site structure to help users find information easily.
Workshop Accessibility
We work to make our workshops accessible to all participants:
Materials: Large print handouts and high-contrast presentation slides. Alternative formats available upon request.
Virtual workshops: Captioning available for online sessions. Screen reader-friendly materials provided in advance when requested.
In-person workshops: We work with host organizations to ensure wheelchair-accessible venues. Please inform us of any mobility needs when booking.
Pace and format: Our workshops are designed with breaks and allow time for questions. We can adjust pacing to accommodate participant needs.
Requesting Accommodations
We want to ensure you can fully participate in our workshops. If you need accommodations, please contact us at least two weeks before your scheduled workshop so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Accommodations we can provide include, but are not limited to: large print materials, digital copies of handouts in accessible formats, reserved seating, breaks as needed, and sign language interpreters (with advance notice).
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and workshops. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. Your input helps us serve all participants better.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We regularly review our website and materials to identify and address accessibility issues. As web standards and assistive technologies evolve, we will continue to update our practices.
